You start dropping weight, but you're anticipating the day you reach your goal and can eat all those foods. The day comes and you go back to the old way you ate, putting on even more weight. Carbs are vital for our diet. We get most of our vitamins through carbs. We get most of our energy through carbs. You can't expect to have a good workout at the gym without carbs.

We all love to eat food, but we must learn how we can harness food to our advantage, instead of going cold turkey. If you're planning on losing weight with a specific diet, you need to follow that for the rest of your life, or you'll put the weight back on. You better choose something that allows you to eat and enjoy yourself, instead of a long life of borderline starving. Food Is Not The Enemy Most diets out there have you declare war on food. They think it is the enemy and you need to stop using it. Food is not the enemy. Food is important to us. Food allows us to grow, to work. It tastes good and it makes us happy. It makes more sense to ally with food. Use food to our advantage.
