Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some very common questions that are asked by concerned women. If your question hasn’t been answered, you can ask the question in the provided space below.
Aren’t females not wired to build muscle?
Yes, sort of, but that is misleading. It’s true. Females don’t produce as much testosterone as males. The misleading part is that most muscle building comes from a quality diet and a great workout. If a man or woman doesn’t have these two, neither will be able to grow muscles. To answer the question, men are “wired” for it. All that means that if you follow the same techniques as a man, he’ll probably have better results, but that doesn’t mean you won’t have stellar results yourself.

Hello, I recently bought American Sports Nutrition Whey for a meal replacement. I was informed to drink it right after my workout. I’m a 21 year old female trying to shape up and tone some aspects of my body. Currently am about 115-117 pounds.
Thank you for your time.

Hi Sana,
Whey protein isn’t really that hard to use. You take it after you workout because it is an extremely fast digestion protein. This means your muscles can get the necessary nutrients they crave after a workout.
You should typically take one scoop mixed with skim/low fat milk or two scoops mixed with water.
I hope this helps,
Elle
