Engineer in Training Resume

Dear Engineer, Well, you're an EIT, I suppose this is the first time that you really needed to sit down and really make your resume work. You really need to be able to make a very persuasive resume because it's tough for EITs, especially the ones with little experience.

I've learned one thing when I got out of school, this is a game of numbers. You have to apply at a lot of places and do as much cold calling as possible. The hard part is that most places won't call back. You need a resume with a little zing. Something that will get them wanting to meet you and that is how you're going to get your foot in the door.

You're no longer going to have a universal resume that you're going to send to every potential employer. You're going to have to change it up and change things to meet the needs of the business you're applying at. There are some basic templates, but I'm going to show you any of these engineer in training resumes here.

You have to learn to make your resume great, but not waste a lot of time with it. Since you're going to be changing your resume for each potential business you need a fast way of doing this.
