I thought I could do a post on milk because it is something that a lot of people really don’t understand nor really how they can use it for their benefit. Obviously it contains substances that are considered great for building muscle, but it is also milk. It contains a lot of other byproducts and you can never forget the fact that it is milk designed specially for a calf.

One thing that you may not be aware of is the fact that you might have a problem with digesting milk. It is an issue all animals experience when they try to digest milk from another species. Like I said before, milk is designed specifically for a baby cow to help it grow.

A lot of people don’t realize this, but whey protein is actually extracted from milk. When you drink milk you’re getting whey. In fact, you’re getting both whey and casine protein. That means you’re getting the fast digesting protein and the slower digesting protein, so I believe that can give you a well rounded amount of protein into your system whenever you want and very easily.

But I also believe that milk shouldn’t be something taken a lot. I typically mix it in with my whey shakes after I workout, so they taste better. I don’t think there is really a purpose beyond that for its use.
