Find Your Flow With Female Bodybuilding
I wanted to share with you what I do to find a flow with female bodybuilding. A lot of people don’t understand what I mean by ‘flow’, so I’ll first define it. Just as a river consistently flows in a direction, that is what I want you to be able to do. I want you to consistently move in a direction toward your goal. I think everyone recognizes that the hardest part of any journey is starting, so obviously something happens during the early stages.
Scheduling
I don’t think anyone can get around this. You just have to set it down in stone that you’re going to the gym and a certain time and that is it. It’s just that simple. At first you’re going to have a lot of resistence to doing this because you’re used to doing other things. If you’re getting up early to go to the gym, well you’re used to sleeping at that time. If you’re going to the gym after a work day, well you’re probably used to taking it easy.
It has been proven scientifically that you have to do something for 21 days before it actually becomes a habit and this is what we want to achieve. If you follow a specific schedule for what you need to do for bodybuilding, than you’re going to build a habit in 21 days.
Identify Negative Triggers
We all have triggers; some of them are good and some of them are bad. We don’t necessarly do what we want in the heat of the moment. You may be planning on going to the gym after work, or eating a healthy meal, but something happens that leads to you cancelling or eating something bad.
This is an emotional battle and you have to recognize those things that typically get you off track. If you have a friend that is always making negative comments (we all have at least one friend like that), you just have to avoid them. You can’t let people bring you down.
Sometimes you’ll just get a craving for something you know you shouldn’t eat. You’re more likely to cheat when you have bad food in your house. I noticed when I eliminated all the bad food in my house, I was less likely to cheat. If I was looking to fill my sugar tooth, I’d have to go down to the store and get it. In this case it is just a lot more work than it is worth because the craving will disappear about 15 minutes later.
I think these two things will help you the most when it comes to finding your flow when it comes to female bodybuilding. Schedule things out and follow it. Also identify the things that make you go off track and learn to properly deal with them.
