Intermittent Fasting Weight Loss Plan
I wanted to take the time to talk to you about a new intermittent fasting weight loss diet. It is a very new type of eating that can help you lose weight. It isn’t to the status of the next big thing in diets, but with the amazing study that recently came out, it should be there within the next 6 months. The study showed that people ended up eating the same amount food and actually lost weight. It also found that these people had improved health and were believed to live longer. There are a lot of skeptics when it comes to this, so I thought I’d do an investigation to learn more.
All that an intermittent fasting weight loss diet consists of is an eating pattern, rather than the food you end up eating. For a full 24hr period, you can eat anything you want, no matter how fattening, as much as you want. The next 24hr period, you’re on a fast and can only have the basics like water. This simple cycle repeats. To those that think that you’re actually starving yourself, you end up eating the same amount of calories during your 24hr period of eating, that you normally eat over a 2 day period.
When I look at safety of the body, I usually look for natural. It is natural for the human animal to eat three meals a day, everyday? Probably not. If you look at the caveman’s eating patterns, it would of consisted of something similar to intermittent fasting. A big animal is caught and there would be a feast, but other days nothing would be caught and they’d eat nothing.
I think this diet fits in a lot better with our biology. The Eat Stop Eat book can be a very good guide to help you properly do this diet.

I completely agree with this concept. I have struggled with my weight since I was a small child, I have studied body typing (I’m an endo-meso) meaning, I gain easily if I eat to much and I lose easily if I cut back.
I’ve tried eveything the 3 meals a day, blah blah blah…doesn’t work..I don’t like to eat breakfast (not hungry in the morning), I’m usually hungry at lunch time. So all this being said, long story short, when I followed the routine of eating a very good lunch, my favorite is Panera’s soup, salad and a piece of bread with lots of butter for lunch, and I would basically skip dinner, mayby a sugarfree popsicle. I started losing weight everywhere, hips, thighs, stomach…this is a beautiful plan, you have more energy, your body is resting in the evening and everything just works better. I got off that plan becaus reading to much garbage..the latest and the greatest diet..and tried all of those..only caused me stress and to gain weight..so about 2 weeks ago..I did a google search of one meal a day and discovered IF (Intermittent Fasting)…I was thrilled to see that I’m not the only person who thinks and believes this way. Today is September 1, 2008, I’m changing my diet back to IF. I know this is the lifestyle change for weight loss and ultimate health I need.
God Bless,
Jan
